Honeymoon in Kerala - When you're in "God's own country", you breathe pure air, cruise through languid backwaters, tread cautiously into dense tropical forests and frolic on the golden beaches. Crisscrossed by forty four rivers, and never far from the sea, Kerala is just simply beautiful.

While Kerala's fabulous scenery lulls tourists into forced relaxation, its very dedicated ayurvedic health centres soothe and rejuvenate. On the other hand, the varied topography allows white water rafting, trekking, camping, mountain biking, paragliding, backwater cruises and jungle safaris.

Kerala's wealth of natural attractions includes Kumarakom, a little heaven with mangroves, coconut groves, lush paddy fields and waterways and canals. You can take a boat to Lake Vembanad and indulge in fishing, swimming and bird watching. The splendid palm lined beaches stretch from Kovalam to Chowara and Varkala and are dotted with heritage attractions and Ayurvedic resorts. Munnar at 1800 m is picture perfect, with unending stretches of rolling tea plantations and spice gardens promising solitude and tranquility. Munnar's lavishly endowed countryside offers great trekking opportunities. Thekkady's Periyar forest has a fascinating wild life sanctuary with excellent accommodation facilities.

You can't leave Kerala without a cruise down the backwaters between Kollan and Kochi - take a long boat through the 75 km maze of waterways, lakes, canals and rivers. Or, if you wish to be a part of the surroundings, spend a few days on the eco-friendly and biodegradable houseboats and engage in canoeing, angling or just enjoy the scenic views.

Day 01: Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Airport you will be welcomed our representative and transferred to a hotel. Relax and refresh at the hotel.
In the afternoon leave for a tour to Cochin, the Queen of Arabian Sea. Places to visit: Bolghatty, Gunda and Willington Islands, Parishath Taamburan Museum, Kerala History Museum, Hill Palace Museum, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santacruz Cathedral, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church etc.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Cochin-Munnar
After breakfast drive to Munnar which is 110kms from Cochin. Munnar in the God's Own country is a unique example of non-ending greenery. Check into a hotel and spend the day at leisure.

Day 03 : Munnar
After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion tour to Munnar.
Places to visit: Top Station- Top station offers spectacular views of Western Ghats and Kodaikanal. Also visit Mattupety farm, Mattupety dam and lake and then drive to Rajmala to explore the natural beauty of sandalwood trees in Kerala. On your way back to hotel visit Devikualama and Echo Point.

Day 04 : Munnar-Periyar
After breakfast proceed to Periyar/Thekkady. On arrival at Periyar, check into a hotel.
Periyar is a quaint village famous for the panoramic views of the plains, tumbling waterfalls and coconut groves. In the afternoon proceed for a tour to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Also enjoy the local sightseeing of Thekkaddy and boat ride at Periyar Lake. Overnight at hotel in Periyar.

Day 05 : Periyar-Kumarakom
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom, a famous backwater resort of Kerala. Check into a hotel and proceed for local tour to Kumarakom. Places to visit: Backwaters, Kumarakom Wildlife Sanctuary Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Kumarakom Backwater Cruise
After breakfast leave for a 24hrs Kerala Backwater Cruise. Enjoy your stay in houseboat with all modern facilities similar to hotel. Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 07 : Alleppey-Cochin
In the morning your houseboat will arrive at Allepey. After breakfast check out of the houseboat. Proceed for a local tour to Allepey. In the evening you will be dropped at Cochin Airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
